The Board of Supervisors (Board) remains committed to the people of the City and County of San Francisco and providing access to our legislative process during this health crisis. The health and well-being of our community are at the forefront of our minds as we adjust processes to ensure business continuity.
Department staff are actively engaging with the public remotely during regular business hours, and are available at City Hall, room 244 for in person services. Appointments are encouraged to ensure safety and consideration of our vulnerable populations and to individuals of unknown vaccination status. Board member’s district offices are available on an appointment only basis, and may be contacted directly here.
As meetings of the Board of Supervisors and its committees reconvene in the Board Chamber, members of the public will continue to participate remotely pending updated health and safety guidance by the Health Officer regarding large indoor public gatherings. Public meetings held by the Board of Supervisors and its committees will continue to be publicly cablecasted through SFGovTV and SFGovTV’s online Video on Demand service at www.sfgovtv.org. Members of the public may participate and provide public comment remotely via remote meeting call-in and/or by submitting comments regarding current legislative matters electronically via email. General public comments may be submitted to Board.of.Supervisors@sfgov.org.
We encourage members of the public to utilize the many resources provided by our office to access information and communicate with us.
The Office of the Clerk of the Board continues to provide assistance to staff and members of the public during our regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. In person counter services is available at City Hall, room 244. Appointments are encouraged to ensure safety and consideration of our vulnerable populations and to individuals of unknown vaccination status.

For additional general inquiries, virtual office hours are hosted by the Clerk of the Board and staff every Monday 3-5pm and Friday 1-3pm to help address any legislative, operational, and/or administrative process questions that members of the public may have.
