On July 1, 2002, the Board of Supervisors rescinded unencumbered appropriation authority for airport capital projects and appropriated a portion of that spending authority back to the airport (Ordinance 021068).

Supervisor Peskin requests a mid-year update on spending within this appropriation authority. Specifically, his office requests a report-detailing sub-object spending in each of the appropriation's broad spending categories. His staff, Wade Crowfoot, can be contacted to clarify or refine this request.
