VACANCY NOTICE

SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY (SRO) TASK FORCE

Replaces All Previous Notices

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following vacancy and term expirations (in bold), appointed by the Board of Supervisors:

 

Seat 1, Randall Sloan, must be a SRO tenant, for an indefinite term.

 

Seat 2, Suresh Patel, must be a private SRO owner/operator, for an indefinite term.

 

Seat 3, Shanita Gardner, must be a private SRO owner/operator, for an indefinite term.

 

Seat 4, Dion Roberts, must be a non-profit SRO operator/owner, for an indefinite term.

 

Seat 5, Juan Alejandro Garcia, must be a representative of the Mission SRO Collaborative, for an indefinite term.

 

Seat 6, Clifford Gilmore, must be a representative of the Central City SRO Collaborative, for an indefinite term.

 

Seat 7, Angela Chu, must be a representative of the Chinatown SRO Collaborative, for an indefinite term.

 

Vacant Seat 8, succeeding Raul Fernandez-Berriozabal, resigned, must be a representative of the Families SRO Collaborative, for an indefinite term.

 

Seat 9, Jordan Davis, must be a SRO tenant, for an indefinite term.

 

Reports:  The SRO Task Force shall monitor and make policy recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and annually produce a comprehensive report.

 

Sunset Date:  December 31, 2021.

Goodlett Place, Room 244, San Francisco, CA 94102-4689.  Completed applications should be submitted to the Clerk of the Board.  All applicants must be residents of San Francisco, unless otherwise stated.

 

Next Steps:  Applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once the Rules Committee Chair determines the date of the hearing.  Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the meeting, and applicants may be asked to state their qualifications.  The appointment(s) of the individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
