NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following vacancies, upcoming term expirations and information on currently held seats, appointed by the Board of Supervisors:

Seat 1, succeeding Jean Barish, term expiring April 10, 2021, must be appointed by the District 1 Supervisor, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Vacant Seat 2, succeeding Robert Bardell, term expired, must be appointed by the District 2 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Vacant Seat 3, succeeding Christian Martin, term expired, must be appointed by the District 3 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 4, succeeding Camelin Blackstone, term expiring April 10, 2021, must be appointed by the District 4 Supervisor, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 5, Lisa Brewe-Bowes, term expiring april 10, 2023, must be appointed by the District 5 Supervisor, for a two-year term.

Vacant Seat 6, succeeding Daniel Pan, term expired, must be appointed by the District 6 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 7, succeeding Jessica Cabrera, term expiring April 10, 2021, must be appointed by the District 7 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 8, succeeding Penni Wisner, term expiring April 10, 2021, must be appointed by the District 8 Supervisor, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Vacant Seat 9, succeeding Todd Berman, resigned, must be appointed by the District 9 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 10, succeeding Earl Shaddix, term expiring April 10, 2021, must be appointed by the District 10 Supervisor, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Vacant Seat 11, succeeding Grace Breyley, term expired, must be appointed by the District 11 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 12, succeeding Devin Jones, term expiring April 10, 2021, must represent youth groups that provides services for juveniles involved in alternative programs for graffiti diversion, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 13, succeeding Darcy Brown, term expiring April 10, 2021, must be an employee, officer or member of a nonprofit organization that provides services related to the City’s beautification and neighborhood cleanup programs, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Vacant Seat 14, succeeding Alexander Mitra, resigned, must represent a business that operates in San Francisco, and either seat 14 or 15 must own the property where his or her business operates, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 15, succeeding Daniel Kling, term expiring April 10, 2021, must represent a business that operates in San Francisco, and either seat 14 or 15 must own the property where his or her business operates, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 16, succeeding Mike Petricca, term ending April 10, 2021, must be an employee or officer of a private school or art school that operates in San Francisco, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 17, succeeding Margeaux Casillas, term expiring April 10, 2021, must be an employee or officer of the contracting agency for Municipal Railway shelters, for a two-year term ending April 10, 2023.

Seat 18, succeeding Gregory Dillon, term expired, must be an at-large member of the public, for a two-year term ending March 11, 2022.

Additional Qualifications:  Members shall be broadly representative of the ethnic, racial, gender, age, and sexual orientation diversity of the City and County of San Francisco.  Appointing authorities shall appoint persons from varying backgrounds who have demonstrated abilities, skills, or experience with youth or addressing blight in neighborhoods.

Report:  The Advisory Board shall prepare and submit a report to the Board of Supervisors and the Mayor every six months on graffiti as it affects neighborhoods and the downtown area of San Francisco, which shall include a review and evaluation of the services and programs in place to respond to graffiti, prevention strategies, recommendations, and plans regarding a consolidated program of public and private efforts.

Goodlett Place, Room 244, San Francisco, CA 94102-4689.  Completed applications should be submitted to the Clerk of the Board.  All applicants must be residents of San Francisco, unless otherwise stated.

Next Steps:  Applicants applying for seats 1 through 11 must submit an application directly to the District Supervisor’s office and will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once they are appointed.  Applicants applying for seats 12 through 17, who meet minimum qualifications, will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once the Rules Committee Chair determines the date of the hearing.  Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the meeting, and applicants may be asked to state their qualifications.  The appointment(s) of the individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
