Ordinance amending the San Francisco Subdivision Code Article 9, Section 1396 to extend the annual condominium conversion limitation for two additional years and providing for the conversion of specified buildings where a property owner submitted a subdivision application on or before January 21, 2003. .RECEIVED AND ASSIGNED to Transportation and Commerce Committee.Sponsor requests that the Board President determine that this measure may be considered before the expiration of 30 days, as allowed under Rule 5.40 of the Board of Supervisors Rules of Order, because the measure simply continues existing City policy and does not create or revise major City policy. Ordinance amending Article 23 of the San Francisco Public Works Code by amending Sections 1302 through 1306, and adding a new Section 1307 to declare graffiti a public nuisance, eliminate the duty of the Director of Public Works to remove graffiti at no cost to property owners upon consent from the property owner, streamline review hearing procedures, and making technical corrections to, and renumbering renumber existing Sections 1307 through 1309 as Sections 1308 through 1310. Resolution amending Resolution Number 302-99, which approved the following recommendations from the Executive Director of the Department of Human Services for expenditures from the Zygmunt Arendt estate: 1) to distribute the portion of the bequest designated for the most needy seniors and disabled children to organizations that serve those groups; and 2) to distribute the portion intended to assist the poor and needy on special supportive services for indigent adults participating in self-sufficiency programs who are otherwise ineligible for MediCal-funded services, such as dental, eye and medical care, and other basic needs not funded through existing programs; by approving modified recommendations from the Executive Director of the Department of Human Services as follows: 1) to allocate the portions designated for the poor and needy people of San Francisco and the most needy seniors for housing and related services for those designees.
