Ordinance amending the San Francisco Administrative Code by adding Section 1.60, to implement Proposition B as adopted by the voters at the November 7, 2006 election and authorize members of City boards and commissions, including the Board of Supervisors, to participate in meetings by teleconferencing when the member is physically unable to attend in person, as certified by a health care provider, due to the member's pregnancy, childbirth, or related condition. Resolution authorizing the San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH), Jail Health Services, Forensic AIDS Project to accept and expend retroactively a new grant in the amount of $28,449, from the United States Conference of Mayors Research and Education Foundation (COMREF) in support of a program entitled Reaching Inward for Self-Empowerment (RISE) Project HIV/AIDS Prevention Program Grant, for the period of September 1, 2006 through August 31, 2007 with continuation for one additional year, which includes a sub-contract with the San Francisco State University Center for Research on Gender and Sexuality in the amount of $12,000 for the same time period.
