Resolution authorizing the Department of the District Attorney to enter into a Joint Power and Revolving Fund Contract with the California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board to : (1) contract for, accept and expend up to $1,184,530 allocated from the California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board for the assistance of victims and witnesses of crime for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009; and (2) renew its current agreement with the California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board, an agent of the State of California, for a revolving loan fund in the amount of $75,000 to be used to pay for verified funeral/burial expenses and emergency relocation for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault for an additional two years from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009.
