Resolution authorizing the San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH), to accept and expend a grant in the amount of $402,342 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to support the Medical Monitoring Project (MMP); for the period of June 1, 2009, through May 31, 2010.

Hearing on the Municipal Transportation Agency's (MTA) processes and procedures around enforcement of disability placards. Request to the MTA to report on: 1) The number of disability placards that are currently active in San Francisco 2) The number of placards confiscated in the past year 3) The percentage of placards confiscated compared to the number of people asked for proof of valid placard. Request for an update from the MTA on their progress working with the State of California to ensure that temporary placards are terminated when expired and that death records are thoroughly reviewed before the re-issuance of new disability placards. Request to the MTA for written quarterly reports to the Board of Supervisors with updates on the information stated above.
