The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on the above date with President Tom Ammiano presiding.

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. On call of the roll, the following Supervisors were noted absent:

Supervisor Newsom indicated he intends to move to continue the settlement of litigation of Yellow Cab and Luxor Cabs, Inc. matters, Files 000270 and 00024, when the items are called before the Board today. (See infra.)

Supervisor Katz introduced, welcomed and presented Certificates of Honor to the seven individuals who came to the aid of the residents of a residential care home during a fire: Melissa Shelton, Elvira Treyes, Paula Kiyabu, Jim Taschetta, Michael Bersaglieri, Gabriela Millan and Leslie Wells.

Supervisor Ammiano introduced and welcomed Mr. Wallace Johnson, known as the singing Municipal Railway driver. Mr. Johnson demonstrated his talent by giving a short performance.
