By Supervisor Brown, that letters of inquiry be sent to Chief of Police and the District Attorney to determine what can be done to reduce or eliminate the sale of stolen shopping carts and theft of metal (from such entities as PG&E, Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, BARTD, CalTrans and others) for scrap metal in the Bayview Hunters Point community.
