The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on the above date with President Barbara Kaufman presiding.

The meeting was called to order at 2:09 p.m. On call of the roll, the following Supervisors were noted present: Supervisors Ammiano, Brown, Kaufman, Leno, Medina, Newsom, Teng, Yaki, Yee-9. Noted absent at first roll call: Supervisors Bierman, Katz - 2.

By Supervisor Ammiano, that the City Attorney draft legislation to reconstitute the Treasure Island Development Authority, consistent with the will of the voters in passing Proposition K on the June ballot, such that a new Authority with responsibility for planning and development on Treasure Island would include four representatives appointed by the Mayor and eleven representatives appointed by the Board of Supervisors. By Supervisor Ammiano, that the City Attorney draft legislation to create property tax incentives for new landlords who participate in tenant-based subsidy programs, including Section 8 and Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA), for current Section 8 and HOPWA landlords who increase their participation in these programs.
