The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on the above date with President Barbara Kaufman presiding.

The meeting was called to order at 2:03 p.m. On call of the roll, the following Supervisor was noted absent:

He is on a mission to circulate a card and gather signatures and messages from anyone who wished to express their condolences to the parents of Matthew Shepard to whom he hopes to be able to present these messages.
