The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on the above date with President Tom Ammiano presiding.

The meeting was called to order at 2:02 p.m. On call of the roll, the following Supervisor was noted absent:

President Ammiano introduced Ms. Kerry Painter, City Hall Building Manager, who reported to the Board about the recent incidents at City Hall during the filming event and the Black and White Ball.

Supervisor Teng introduced and presented commendations to the following groups for their participation and sponsorship of the Asian Pacific Heritage Month: Asian, Inc. and Bank of America.

Supervisor Yee introduced Dr. Irene Kwok and Norman Lee, who introduced 3 students from middle school and one from elementary school who recited Chinese stories and poems in their native language.
