Supervisor Brown introduced, welcomed and presented a Certificate of Honor to each of the following Deputy Sheriffs for their role in saving the life of an eight month old child in City Hall: Sergeant Kevin Winch, Deputy Fitzgerold Fields, Deputy Mazen Barbari and Sheriff Cadet Terrence Parker.

Supervisor Teng introduced and welcomed the following delegation from the University of Wuhan who are here to promote exchange between the University and higher educational institutions in the United States: President, Wuhan University and Professor of Basic Physics, Dr. Hou Jiechang; Professor of Law and Assistant to the President, Huaang Hin; Computer Science, He Yanxiang; Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs, Hu Yanchu.
