ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on the above date with President Tom Ammiano presiding.

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. On call of the roll, the following Supervisors were noted absent:

Supervisor Ammiano introduced Reese Butler, founder of the Kristin Brooks Hope Center, a 24 hour nationwide suicide prevention hotline, and Jonathan Cain, singer and co-founder of the band, Journey, and its members, Neal Schon and Ross Balory. Other members of the Board joined Supervisor Ammiano and commended them for their involvement and participation in a benefit concert to raise funds for the "hotline".

Supervisor Newsom, seconded by Supervisor Katz, moved to amend page seven, lines 1 through 3, by removing the further resolved clause.

Supervisor Yaki moved substitute motion to amend, page seven, lines 1 through 3 to read: "Further Resolved, That the San Francisco Ethics Commission shall submit such proposed campaign reform measures as it deems necessary to the Board of Supervisors for consideration". Title amended accordingly on lines 12 and 13.
