[Urging Use of Sampling on U.S. Census]
Resolution urging all members of Congress to support efforts to ensure the use of sampling in the 2000 Census, particularly since the Committee on National Statistics (convened by the National Academy of Sciences) has found that sampling will improve the accuracy of the count and reaffirms its support for the Census Bureau’s efforts to improve the 2000 Census and the overall census process. [Senior Eviction Moratorium on Owner Move-Ins]
Draft ordinance amending Administrative Code by amending Section 37.9 to prohibit, except under narrow circumstances, owner move-in evictions that would result in the displacement of residential tenants who are 60 years of age or older and who have been residing in the same rental unit for 10 years or more; this ordinance would be in effect through June 30, 1999.
