The meeting was called to order at 2:07 p.m. On the call of the roll all Supervisors were noted present.

COMMUNICATIONS
Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board informed the Board members she was in receipt of a communication from Mayor Gavin Newsom indicating that he had appointed David Campos as District Supervisor 9.

Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board, informed the Board members she was in receipt of a communication from Mayor Gavin Newsom indicating that he had vetoed legislation contained in File No. 080658 which would prohibit the City from placing new advertising on street furniture. Consideration of the veto override will be at the December 16, 2008 Board meeting.

Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board, informed the Board members she was in receipt of a communication from John Arntz, Director of Elections, certifying that he had canvassed the votes as cast at the Consolidated General Election held on November 4, 2008.
