City and Board Response to Local Emergency Drug Overdoses in the Tenderloin
On December 17, 2021, Mayor London N. Breed declared a local emergency exists in connection with the sudden increase of drug overdoses in the Tenderloin. California Government Code, Sections 8550 et seq., and San Francisco Charter, Section 3.100, provides for the concurrence by the Board of Supervisors.
