HOUSING STABILITY FUND OVERSIGHT BOARD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following vacancies (in bold) and term expirations, appointed by the Board of Supervisors:

 

Seat 1, Remhai Menelik, term expiring December 13, 2024, must be held by a person who is a resident of Social Housing Developments, for a four-year term.

Seat 2, Benita Burge, term expiring December 13, 2022, must be held by a person who is a resident of Social Housing Developments, for a four-year term.

Seat 3, Gen Fujioka, term expiring Decmeber 13, 2024, must be held by a person with experience owning, operating, or developing Social Housing Developments, for a four-year term.

Seat 4, Saki Bailey, term expiring December 13, 2022, must be held by a person with experience owning, operating, or developing Social Housing Developments, for a four-year term.

Seat 5, Fernando Marti, term expiring December 13, 2024, must be held by a person with legal, academic, or financing expertise regarding affordable housing creation and policy, for a four-year term.

Seat 6, John Baranski, term expring December 13, 2022, must be held by a person with legal, academic, or financing expertise regarding affordable housing creation and policy, for a four-year term.

Seat 7, Shanti Singh, term expiring Decembe 13, 2024, must be held by a person with experience or expertise in advocacy on behalf of tenants or residents of affordable housing, for a four-year term.

Seat 8, Anabell Ibanez, term expiring December 13, 2024, must be held by a person with experience or expertise in the organized labor community, for a four-year term.

Seat 10, Alex Latsberg, term expiring December 13, 2024, must be held by a resident of San Francisco with a demonstrated commitment to affordable housing and to racial and economic equity, for a four-year term.

Seat 11, Han Ming How, term expiring December 13, 2022, must be held by a resident of San Francisco with a demonstrated commitment to affordable housing and to racial and economic equity, for a four-year term.

 

Report(s):  The Oversight Board shall seek to make its recommendations through a racial and economic equity lens, with an eye toward the short-term and long-term impact on the use of the monies from the Housing Stability Program Fund.

Next Steps:  Applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once the Rules Committee Chair determines the date of the hearing.  Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the meeting and applicant(s) may be asked to state their qualifications.  The appointment(s) of the individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
