SAN FRANCISCO REINVESTMENT WORKING GROUP
Inaugural Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following vacancies, upcoming term expirations and information on currently held seats, appointed by the Board of Supervisors:
Seat 1, Rafael Morales, indefinite term, shall be held by a technical expert in financial institutions, with expertise in at least one of the following: community development financial institutions; credit unions, as defined in California Financial Code, Section 165; small banks or intermediate small banks; bank or lending entity formation or business planning; or financial institution regulatory compliance; and nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors and appointed by the full Board of Supervisors.
Seat 2, Jennifer Finger, indefinite term, shall be held by a technical expert in financial institutions, with expertise in at least one of the following: community development financial institutions; credit unions, as defined in California Financial Code, Section 165; small banks or intermediate small banks; bank or lending entity formation or business planning; or financial institution regulatory compliance; and nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors and appointed by the full Board of Supervisors.
Seat 3, Elizabeth Dwyer, indefinite term, shall be held by a technical expert in financial institutions, with expertise in at least one of the following: community development financial institutions; credit unions, as defined in California Financial Code, Section 165; small banks or intermediate small banks; bank or lending entity formation or business planning; or financial institution regulatory compliance; and nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors and appointed by the full Board of Supervisors.
Seat 4, Fenando Marti, indefinite term, shall be held by a community representative that has a commitment to economic, gender, and racial justice; a commitment to serving low-income communities, communities of color, immigrant communities, and organized labor; and experience in at least one of the following: affordable housing, financing or policy; local enterprise lending; consumer or student lending; or environmental justice with experience in areas such as zero-emission renewable energy sources, energy efficient building design, or sustainable food systems; and nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors and appointed by the full Board of Supervisors.
Seat 5, Christin Evans, indefinite term, shall be held by a community representative that has a commitment to economic, gender, and racial justice; a commitment to serving low-income communities, communities of color, immigrant communities, and organized labor; and experience in at least one of the following: affordable housing, financing or policy; local enterprise lending; consumer or student lending; or environmental justice with experience in areas such as zero-emission renewable energy sources, energy efficient building design, or sustainable food systems; and nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors and appointed by the full Board of Supervisors.
Seat 6, Michelle Pierce, indefinite term, shall be held by a community representative that has a commitment to economic, gender, and racial justice; a commitment to serving low-income communities, communities of color, immigrant communities, and organized labor; and experience in at least one of the following: affordable housing, financing or policy; local enterprise lending; consumer or student lending; or environmental justice with experience in areas such as zero-emission renewable energy sources, energy efficient building design, or sustainable food systems; and nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors and appointed by the full Board of Supervisors.
Seat 7, Syvia Chi, indefinite term, shall be held by a community representative that has a commitment to economic, gender, and racial justice; a commitment to serving low-income communities, communities of color, immigrant communities, and organized labor; and experience in at least one of the following: affordable housing, financing or policy; local enterprise lending; consumer or student lending; or environmental justice with experience in areas such as zero-emission renewable energy sources, energy efficient building design, or sustainable food systems; and nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors and appointed by the full Board of Supervisors.
Sunset Date: The Working Group shall terminate by operation of law eighteen months (18) from the effective date of File No. 210078.

Next Steps: Applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be considered for nomination by the President of the Board of Supervisors. The individual(s) nominated by the President of the Board of Supervisors will be sent to the Rules Committee for consideration and forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval. During the Rules Committee hearing, the nominated individual(s) will be considered and nominee(s) may be asked to state their qualifications.
