A Message From The Supervisor:
This past week, we honored Excelsior Strong for Latin@ Heritage Month at the Board of Supervisors. This year’s theme is Corazon de la Comunidad” (Heart of the Community) and I was excited to be honoring Excelsior Strong for all their tremendous work over the past 2 ½ years to serve the community. When the pandemic struck, Excelsior Strong was formed and jumped into action to provide much needed services that included distributing PPE, managing food distribution, helping over 3,000 families obtain rent relief, providing mental health services to families during difficult times and so much more. Our community appreciates all the work of Excelsior Strong.
Our office is accessible to the public through telephone, email, virtual meeting or in person via appointment. We are available by email: safaistaff@sfgov.org or by phone 415-554-6976 (leave a message and we will call you back). You can also check for updates on my Twitter , Instagram, and Facebook.
Please note - if you miss my weekly newsletter, you may find it later on the Board of Supervisor’s website. Click HERE to read past newsletters.
Sincerely,
Supervisor Ahsha Safai
