From the entire District 11 team, we wish you Happy Holidays! Sending blessings to you and your loved ones. We are proud of the work that we have been able to accomplish with your support.

The District 11 Office will be closed from December 22, 2023 to January 2, 2024 for the Winter Recess and Holidays. My office is still available by email: safaistaff@sfgov.org or by phone 415-554-6976 (leave a message and we will call you back). You can also check for updates on my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Holiday Extravaganza at Merced Heights Playground was fantastic! Two thousand people were served at the event. Special thanks to Renard Monroe, Youth 1st, Stem Frenzy, AAECE, OMICC, the Novation Lab, DCYF, Invest Black and all the community leaders and organizations that helped to put this amazing event together.

It was beautiful to join community and school staff to bring some holiday joy to the children of Mission Education Center at the annual Regalitos event. I’m thankful to the community for organizing this heartwarming event year after year.

Marina Green Waterfront PETITION

We need your help to save the Marina Green open waterfront ! There is overwhelming citywide opposition to the Recreation and Parks Department plan to obstruct public access to the waterfront with boat slips. It is important that we retain public access to these critical spaces highly utilized by all San Franciscans and visitors. There is widespread support for remediating and rebuilding Gashouse Cove as originally planned. Click HERE to learn more.
