Happy Holidays to all and Merry Christmas to those in our community that celebrate the holiday. I know the events of this year make it feel like the "Grinch that stole Christmas" and that we are all experiencing COVID-19 fatigue. However, San Francisco and the entire state of California are currently experiencing the largest surge of COVID-19 cases to date. During this time, we must be vigilant and follow the guidelines that our public health experts have outlined for us. San Francisco has the lowest death rate in the nation and we need to keep up the good work of staying within our households and protecting one another by wearing masks and maintaining social distance when we leave our homes. 

I am urging all District 11 residents to please stay home and abide by all the health orders. Outdoor exercise is allowed for a short period of time, click HERE to read the guidelines for outdoor exercise. Your cooperation really does save lives.

I wish you all a happy holiday season staying at home. Although our City Hall Office is closed to the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are still here to serve you. Reminder that Mayor London N. Breed and Director of Health, Dr. Grant Colfax, announced a public health order that places a mandatory quarantine of 10 days on anyone traveling, moving, or returning to San Francisco from anywhere outside the Bay Area. Limited exceptions apply to people who are traveling for certain critical activities. The new order also strongly discourages any non-essential travel within the 10-county Bay Area region.
