Two years ago, when I first took office, we were in the midst of fighting against COVID-19, making sure our most vulnerable could get vaccinated, have their groceries delivered, our tenants and homeowners could stay housed, and our small businesses could stay open. Now in 2023, we continue our efforts fighting for an equitable local economic recovery. We want a San Francisco that works for all of us, not just some of us.
This is why I have put together a plan that will help us bridge the City’s $728 million budget deficit while caring for our working people, small businesses, and those who are in need of critical city services.
