Come join us this Saturday July 20 from 4-8pm on Clement Street between 22nd and 25th Avenues for our second of four Heart of the Richmond Night Markets! Our first Night Market, last month, was a huge success and brought visitors and Richmond neighbors out to shop local vendors and enjoy dinner at one of our delicious neighborhood restaurants!
This Saturday's market will have even more vendors, fun entertainment, and delicious snacks and treats! See you out on Clement, and visit the Heart of the Richmond website to learn more.

Heart of the Richmond Stephen Chow Film Fest
Thank you to everyone who came out to last weekend's film fest to celebrate, catch a film, and support our small businesses and restaurants in the Outer Richmond. It was wonderful to see so many neighbors and meet new friends. I loved showcasing one of my favorite Chinese actors and filmmakers, Stephen Chow, and his amazingly funny and heartfelt films. Can't wait for our next film fest in September, more details coming soon!!
SF Public Works Clean Corridors
Last week the SF Public Works Clean Corridors team was back in District 1, cleaning up Clement Street! Public Works crews were out early to power wash and sweep the sidewalks, clean the road, and wipe out graffiti. I love seeing the cleaning crew out in the neighborhood! Thanks for doing such a great job!

Geary Boulevard / 19th Ave Subway and
Regional Connection Study
The San Francisco County Transportation Authority is beginning a study into a potential new rail subway under Geary Boulevard and 19th Avenue.
The Geary/19th Ave Subway and Regional Connections Study was identified in ConnectSF’s Transit Investment Strategy as a key investment to build more rail infrastructure and build connections to San Francisco’s busiest places. The subway would serve the city’s most crowded bus corridor, connecting some of our busiest neighborhoods to downtown and regional destinations.
Planning and construction of a subway is a multi-phase effort, occurring over many years. This study will focus on the first phase of planning and development.
The study will:
Outline potential benefits, costs, and risks of the project;
Identify the key questions that must be addressed and resolved as planning, design, and construction progress; and
Develop a framework and process to successfully design and build the subway.
Give your Feedback to SFMTA - Biking and Rolling Plan

They will be in District 1 on Wednesday, July 24, from 6 pm to 8 pm at theRichmond Rec Center, 251 18th Ave. You can RSVP to attend by emailing BikeRoll@sfmta.com or scan the QR code below.
