I wish peace and joy for you and your family. It has been a great honor to serve District 7 as your Supervisor this past year, and I am grateful for the collaboration with so many institutions and neighbors to make our corner of the City a better place to live, raise a family and age in place. We have had many challenges this past year, and the involvement and civic engagement of our community makes all the difference.
Â
As we celebrate the end of the year festivities, I want to encourage you to shop locally; support our neighborhood businesses!
Â
Working with Mayor London Breed and the SFPD, we will be deploying Ambassadors on the West Portal and Irving commercial corridors just in time for the Christmas shopping season. We look forward to this program supporting safety and security neighbors and merchants.

----- Please note:The Board of Supervisors will be on break for winter break, December 15th through January 6, 2023. This means there will be no full board or committee meetings during the break. However staff will still be on hand to assist you, should you need them.
On November 30th, the Department of Public Works announcedthe courtesy graffiti abatement program for storefronts and other private properties in neighborhood commercial corridor, which I authored. It will allow professional Public Works crews or City contractors access to wipe out graffiti at zero cost to the affected property and business owners.
Property and business owners interested in receiving a courtest abatement should make a request through the 311 customer service center. The property owner's consent is required.Â
