Dear Neighbors and Community,Â
It’s budget season and as you know, we are facing a sizable deficit here in San Francisco for the foreseeable future. As we fight to ensure that all needs are met and we continue to thrive as a city, there are going to be some tough decisions to make during this budget season. We will always fight to keep everyone whole and to support our most vulnerable populations.
Please join us on Thursday, April 18 at 5:30pm at the Southeast Community Center for an in-person Budget Town Hall with Budget Chair Supervisor Connie Chan.Â
Interpretation in Cantonese and Spanish will be available.
Going into this year’s budget cycle our priorities are (in no any particular order):
- Maintaining Critical Services
- Addressing Affordability
- Decreasing Inequities
- Community/Neighborhood Safety
- Services for the Unhoused
There will be some trade-offs and hard conversations going through this year’s budget process, but our commitment to providing for the residents of this city remains strong. We have added a survey link for budget input and this newsletter provides dates for the upcoming Budget Town Halls for District 10 (in-person and virtual)!
It is important that I hear what is most important to the community so that I can do my best to bring your voice to the budget process. Please fill out a budget input form HERE.
