Dear Neighbors and Community,Â
I hope you are all doing well!Â
I wanted to make sure you are all aware that there is a new Bayview Station Captain; Captain Michael Koniaris. My office will be sure to keep you updated on any community meetings and merchant meetings with Captain Koniaris.Â
As you may be aware, Vision Zero parking enforcement efforts will be taking place with a focus on illegal parking creating inaccessibility for pedestrians. The tentative dates for D10 are the week of 7/28, 10/27, 2/9/25, and 4/27/25. Regular enforcement will still continue throughout the year.Â
Heading into June, I want to wish everyone a Happy Juneteenth and encourage you all to come out and celebrate. I hope to see you at one of the following events!

As always, if you have any questions or matters concerning District 10, please email my office at waltonstaff@sfgov.org.Â

- May 3 - We stopped by Nail’s by Jenny on Leland Ave to celebrate their 30 years in the neighborhood. Congratulations Nancy on your legacy on Leland!
- May 3 - Celebrating partnerships with the USDA and community farms at the Florence Fang Community Farm in Bayview. Addressing food insecurities and sustainability right in the neighborhood!
- May 6 - Alongside our incredible community, Language Access Network, Office of Civic Engagement and Immigrant Affairs OCEIA, and the Immigrant Rights Commission, we adopted the new Language Access Ordinance amendments at the Board of Supervisors Rules Committee. This is a huge step towards ensuring equal access to vital services for all in San Francisco. We will keep fighting to ensure that our city services are available in languages that reflects our diverse community.
- May 8 - Proud to attend the Sunnydale topping off ceremony for Block 3A and 3B! 100% affordable housing units right in community with a brand new hub for the neighborhood! We build in D10!
|
- May 21- Myself and Supervisor Ronen met with community leaders from Compass Family Services who shared their first-hand experiences with family homelessness. We will continue to fight for resources to make sure we help our unhoused families, or families at-risk of homelessness, achieve stability in San Francisco
- May 22 - The SFO Wag Brigade stopped by City Hall during our budget season to help us destress! The volunteer brigade helps passengers ease their anxieties during travel at SFO. Thanks for coming by and brightening our day!
- May 22 -Â Great turn out at the Future of Candlestick workshop yesterday at Laughing Monk Brewery in Bayview. We learned about the proposed future design, and residents and community members had a chance to ask questions and get clarity on next steps.
