Politics and disagreements in our country have become frightening. An attempted assassination on a presidential candidate highlights our collective vulnerability to hate. When hate turns to violence, it endangers us all. Senseless violence has no place in our nation, our state, or our city. As always, I pray for peace and an end to gun violence.Â
